Christmas at Star
Family Devotions
If you have never experienced the ritual of a family devotion, we invite you to create one this Advent season. Create your own custom! Maybe it’s a few minutes in the morning or at night before tucking the kids in bed. Then commit to it for a few minutes a day. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never done it before. It’s never too late to start! Advent devotions can provide the comfort of history, regularity, and spiritual tradition to the season. There’s something special and comforting about gathering as a family, lighting a candle, and hearing God’s Word that prepares hearts and homes for Christmas.

Advent by Candlelight
Join the women of Star as we prepare our hearts for the season of Advent. The evening will begin with conversation and hors-d'oeuvres in the church gathering area. We will then gather in the sanctuary to sing Christmas hymns as we focus on the hope, peace, joy, and love that can only come from Christ. Coffee, desserts, and fellowship in the Gathering Area will wrap up an evening filled with music, prayer, and quiet meditation.
Invite friends and family to join you for this evening of reflection which will surely re-set your hearts and minds for the Christmas season.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" ~ John 3:16
