FORENSICS COACHES NEEDED
Grades 7 and 8 are invited to a forensics festival on Saturday, Nov. 4 at WISCO. We are in need of coaches in order to make this happen. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Mueller at firstname.lastname@example.org.
FIRE, TORNADO, AND LOCKDOWN DRILLS
As part of our school safety procedures, several drills will take place over the next few weeks to prepare both faculty and students for the proper procedures in the event that an emergency would occur. If you have questions regarding the specifics of these drills, please contact your child's teacher.
STAR SPELL CHECK
Spell Check pledge forms are due in the office on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Need program materials? All items included in the packet can be found at www.starofbethlehem.org/spellcheck, including a guide of helpful hints for studying spelling words. Check out the creative ways to help your child learn! The Spell Check bulletin board is located in the school hallway next to the Lego cabinet. Watch for current classroom participation rates. Remember, all classrooms that reach 100% participation will get a snow cone party!
QUAKER STEAK AND LUBE FUNDRASIER
The Home and School Association is hosting a fundraiser at Quaker Steak and Lube on Sunday, Sep. 24 from 10:00am-10:00pm. Please join us in fellowship and raising funds for our school. TAILGATE PARTY AT RAABE FIELD
Join the families of Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Zion South Milwaukee for a fun night at Raabe Field on Friday, Sep. 29! Star and Zion are sponsoring a tailgate party before WISCO plays New Berlin West at 7:00pm for their Homecoming game. The party will be held on the northeast end of the stadium. HSA STAR EXTRAVAGANZA
The Home and School Association invites students in grades K-8 and their families to the Star Extravaganza on Friday, Oct. 13 from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Our first quarter mission project is to help those affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Please watch for more information coming soon. Offering envelopes can be brought to Wednesday's chapel service.
There are a number of collection fund raising opportunities available to help Star earn some extra money! Opportunities include Box Tops for Education, Milk Moola, Tyson, and more. Coordinators are also needed to help communicate these programs to parents, stay up-to-date with promotions, and submit labels/codes. CLICK HERE for more information.
